God and Satan

For my Sequential Art class we have to create designs for characters in a comic! The comic is about two characters racing. The idea is the characters are supposed to be complete opposite, so I though, what would be more opposite than God and Satan. But of course as an illustration major I didn't want to take the scenic route with these two. Instead, I made God the bad guy... er... woman, and Satan is the Good guy. Sorta...

Before I go on, Please do not take any of this seriously. This is art, this is fun! It's not supposed to be taken seriously... well, not completely.

Anyway. So If God was a woman, I bet she would be pretty pissed that everyone calls her a man. So I decided to give her a resting Bi**ch face. I also tried to make it clear that she is in fact a woman, not a man. LOL Boobs! ... I have no life... Now Satan is supposed to be a short energetic quirky character. He thinks he is all that, which gives him a kind-of napoleon complex, but in a good way. He looks at everything in good spirt, so even though he thinks he's Awesome, he isn't mean, or rude about it. I thought it would be fun to mess with their personalities.

The characters will probably change, as I'm still creating the concepts for the comic, which I have until Tuesday to complete... Say goodbye to sleep, and hello to coffee!!!!
